Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This page explains what personal data we collect when you visit this site or buy from us, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and what your rights are. We keep it to what we actually need to run the shop and deliver your purchase.

Who we are

This site and its products are run by The 5-Day Clingy Dog Cure (clingydogcure.com), referred to here as "we" or "us". We are the data controller for the personal data described on this page. For anything privacy-related, email help@clingydogcure.com.

What we collect

  • Details you give us at checkout: your first name and email address.
  • Purchase details: what you bought, the price, the date, and whether a refund was issued.
  • Payment details: card and payment details are entered directly with our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Emails you send us: if you write to us, we keep your message and our reply.
  • Email activity: whether our emails were delivered, opened or clicked, so we can keep sending useful emails and stop sending ones that don't help.
  • Website and ad data: our pages use the Meta Pixel and cookies, which record things like the pages you visit, your device and browser, your IP address, and whether you started a checkout or completed a purchase. This helps us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show them to people likely to find them useful.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To deliver what you bought (send your files, emails and access): this is needed to perform our contract with you.
  • To send the follow-up training emails that come with your purchase: these are part of the product. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can stop them at any time.
  • To handle refunds, questions and support: to perform our contract and because we have a legitimate interest in looking after customers.
  • To keep business and tax records: because the law requires it.
  • To measure and improve our ads: based on our legitimate interest in advertising our products, or on your consent where the law requires consent for cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings.

Who helps us process your data

We use a small number of trusted services to run the shop. Each one only gets the data it needs:

  • Systeme.io hosts these pages, runs the checkout, stores customer records and sends our emails.
  • Stripe processes payments.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) receives Meta Pixel data for ad measurement.
  • Netlify hosts the download files and the helper apps included with the products.
  • Whop hosts the private community group, if you join it as part of the 30-Day Alone Challenge. Whop has its own privacy policy for your account there.
  • Google Fonts serves the fonts on our pages, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.

Some of these providers are based in, or transfer data to, countries outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under EU law, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

  • Purchase and invoice records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Your name and email for the follow-up emails: until you unsubscribe, or until you ask us to delete it.
  • Support emails: for up to 2 years after the last message.
  • Meta Pixel data is kept by Meta under its own retention rules.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to:

  • see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it,
  • correct it if it's wrong,
  • delete it, unless we have to keep it by law,
  • limit how we use it, or object to us using it,
  • send it to you or to another service in a common format.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email help@clingydogcure.com. We'll reply within one month.

If you're not happy with how we handled your data, you can also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

Children

Our products are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
